We are closely monitoring developments and adjusting based on direction from CDC and local government officials which continues to evolve on a daily sometimes hourly basis.
GO RIO is in the business of serving people and in the midst of this outbreak, it is important to provide as much information as possible about the procedures we follow to clean and operate our properties and maintain a sanitary environment as our employees cannot work from home.
Similar to most retail and entertainment environments in the community, GO RIO is following the CDC’s recommendation of social distancing by 20 only allowing passengers per boat and this has been communicated to our staff.
However, a boat or two may have been overloaded recently. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and have taken this very seriously! We immediately investigated and have steps to enforce the rules to insure we continue to be in line with the CDC social distancing recommendations.
Our number one priority is the health and safety of our employees and our customers, which is why we have taken, among other things, the following measures:
Frequently sanitizing surfaces;
Reinforcing appropriate hygiene amongst our staff;
Following all guidelines recommended by the CDC;
Adhering to travel bans and prohibiting employees from returning to work;
Ascertaining that our vendors and suppliers are engaging in prudent preventive measures
Doing all we can to keep our employees abreast of COVID-19 developments.
Our management is in contact with the CDC and other federal agencies to ensure the actions we are taking are comprehensive and appropriate.
