With a fleet of eco-friendly electric river boats in vibrant colors inspired by Mexican folk art, GO RIO offers an unforgettable experience of the San Antonio River Walk that reflects the sights, wonders and culture of a unique American city.
Guests can take narrated or specialty river cruises, chartered excursions or catch a ride on our GO RIO river shuttle from downtown to the Museum Reach to experience the Soul of San Antonio.
Guests may visit our GO RIO Beverage Bar and Retail location near the Rivercenter Ticket Booth for frozen margaritas, piña coladas, beer, sodas or water to sip on while they enjoy a GO RIO Cruise or during their visit to the River Walk. Guests can also stock up on souvenirs or other necessities like sunblock.
May 2017, GO RIO was awarded a 10-year contract with the City of San Antonio to operate the river cruises. Operations began on October 1, 2017.

The San Antonio River Walk is 15 miles long and flows through about 5 miles of downtown San Antonio. While there is no specific River Walk address, you can use the Shops at Rivercenter located on the River Walk as your GPS guide: 849 E. Commerce Street, San Antonio, Texas 78205. Get directions.

GO RIO can accommodate up to 37 passengers per boat.
Narrated tour cruises are offered Monday through Sunday 10 a.m to 10 p.m. During peak periods, hours of operation may be extended. Please notice that during peak times, wait times will be longer. GO RIO operates unless the River flood gates are closed. Weather permitting.
Please note that we do not offer refunds.
Technically the River Walk never closes. You can walk along it at any time, day or night. Of course, the businesses on the River Walk do close at night. Most of the restaurants close around 10 p.m. and bars close at 2 a.m.
